How do retirement asset sales work?

Site visit and valuation

If you are happy to proceed, we will send an RICS-registered valuer to your site. We can inspect every asset on site, including machinery, vehicles, stock, racking, fit-out, and ancillary equipment, and value each on the appropriate basis. This gives you a credible guide price and informs the sale method recommendation.

Selecting a sales method

Not everything suits an auction. A large-format panel saw, a heavy press brake, or a specialist CNC machine may achieve a better price through tender or negotiated sale to a targeted buyer. We recommend the right mix for your site and advise you before anything goes to market.

Marketing and selling your assets

Your assets are marketed to our network of more than 26,000 registered buyers across the relevant sectors. Buyers can then attend viewings ahead of the auction closing. You do not need to be present for these, though being available can be valuable if buyers have questions about specific items.

Post-sale
