Project
BTG Eddisons was instructed by a confidential international food manufacturer to undertake a comprehensive valuation of specialist food and snack production assets ahead of the sale of one of its business units.
The project required the valuation of a highly specialised manufacturing facility, with a focus on accurately assessing the value of production machinery, robotics and associated equipment to support the wider business disposal process.
Approach
BTG Eddisons carried out a detailed on-site inspection and valuation of more than £30 million of specialist snack production machinery and automated manufacturing equipment.
Working collaboratively with BTG Eddisons' valuations team, which simultaneously assessed the site's industrial property assets, the project provided the client with a coordinated and comprehensive valuation covering both fixed assets and real estate.
Drawing on extensive experience in the food manufacturing sector, the team delivered a robust valuation that reflected the complexity, condition and specialist nature of the production equipment, ensuring the client had reliable information to support the sale process.
Results
The valuation programme was completed from site inspection through to the final report within just 14 days, enabling the client to progress the disposal of the business unit without delay.
By combining machinery and property valuation expertise within a single instruction, BTG Eddisons delivered an efficient, joined-up service that provided a complete picture of the business's asset value.
