News
BTG Eddisons Asset Sales has been instructed, by order of the director and ahead of the anticipated appointment of a liquidator, to sell the fleet and garage assets of a London sightseeing tour operator.
The sale covers Scania and Alexander Dennis open-top buses used for “hop-on, hop-off” sightseeing tours, alongside associated garage plant and equipment. Lots are split across two locations, with the majority sited in Meopham, Kent, and the remainder in Wimbledon, south-west London.
The assets
Open-top sightseeing buses are a specialist category that rarely reaches the open market in any volume, since operators typically run them until the end of their working life rather than trading them on. Alongside the vehicles, the garage plant lots cover the maintenance and servicing equipment that supported the fleet's day-to-day operation.
Viewing and timescales
Viewing is strictly by appointment, on Monday 3 August between 10am and 2pm, with appointments needing to be booked by 4pm on Friday 31 July.
The auction closes at 10am on Tuesday 4 August 2026, with collection over Thursday 6 and Friday 7 August, also by appointment.
Contact Dan Regan on 0161 429 5800 or [email protected] to arrange a viewing or for more information.
