We were instructed to handle the sale of an international food starch manufacturer's surplus assets. The auction was a huge success, with our expert team raising nearly £120,000.
The auction ran from May 8th to June 26th, with an impressive 480 lots sold to buyers. Available assets included plant & machinery, vehicles, metalworking equipment and much more. The range of goods meant there was an unsurprisingly high volume of interested parties. By the end of the auction, 259 people registered from global locations like the United Kingdom, Egypt, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Ireland and Poland.
Clearance will take place throughout July before the site is demolished and the food starch manufacturer completes its relocation. One of our directors, Antony Reed, worked closely on the auction and had this to say about the process:
“This sale demonstrated the continued strength of the global auction market for industrial assets. The client's trust in our process, combined with targeted marketing and a diverse asset range, delivered an excellent result. We are proud to have supported their relocation with a successful outcome.”
