The business is ISO9001 and ISO14001 accredited as well as having PEFC certification, which evidences its strong focus on sustainable production.
 

Opportunity

As a result of sector-based challenges and a lack of focus on re-positioning the business to newer but established markets, the business has made recent trading losses, largely driven by a reduction in revenue from its core regional new build customers.
Post a strategic reset and employment of a new management and sales team, losses have been stemmed and the business is now primed for revenue growth and restoring profitability. This will be driven by key strategic changes, which include:
ØFurther rationalisation of the cost base and growing gross margin;
ØA more established focus on heritage and conservation projects, as well as premium residential and architect led work. The new sales team have proven experience and credentials in this area.
ØA greater focus on the London and South-East region, which has historically been neglected.
